FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do you use?

The medium that is most often used at The Sanctuary is polymer clay, more specifically Premo Sculpey. I also frequently use aluminum foil, wire, PearlEX powders, Pan Pastels, acrylic paint, as well as glass beads/cabochons.

How do I take care of my dragon?

While polymer clay is a very durable material, they are still fragile and can break if dropped. I don’t recommend my figurines be given to children as they are not meant to be toys. It is also best to keep your dragon out of constant direct sunlight to limit the risks of sun bleaching the colors over time. If part of your figure is dirty, just get a soft wet cloth to gently wipe away the spot.

What do I do if my dragon breaks?

Most of the time, I find that a little dot of superglue can fuse together broken pieces. If your critter was broken in transit and it isn’t an easy fix, I’m happy to fix them for you - just shoot me an email or message on instagram.

Do you Take Commissions?

The answer is yes and no. I take figurine commissions from time-to-time but rarely are they consistently open. I most frequently give updates about my commission status on my Instagram so follow my there to keep up.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Currently this is something The Sanctuary does not offer.
